Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. A full-time Behavioral Specialist position is available for the upcoming school year within a K-12 educational setting located in Cape Coral, FL. This contract role focuses on supporting students across various grade levels, providing specialized behavioral interventions tailored to individual needs. The role is specifically designed for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join and contribute to creating positive learning environments for students with diverse behavioral challenges. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on functional behavior assessments Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly Provide training and guidance to school personnel on behavior management strategies Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform decision-making and report outcomes Support students in general and specialized education settings to enhance social, emotional, and academic development Qualifications: Active BCBA license with current certification status Experience working within K-12 school environments is preferred Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated ability to handle diverse caseloads, including students with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral challenges Location: On-site position based in Cape Coral, Florida, serving schools within the region This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school setting, working closely with students, families, and educators.
