Commercial Signs - Fabricator

Monarch DIRECT is a rapidly growing Full-Service Print Shop, Graphic Design and Sign Company in Port Charlotte FL which has a full-time position available for experienced Commercial Signs - Fabricator at our Venice location.

Your Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

-- Fabrication, cutting and welding of aluminum and steel frame sign structures, base plates, pylon signs, pole sections, sign cabinets, aluminum channel letterings and architectural sign structures.

-- Keep projects organized and materials ordered to keep job flow in production.

-- Keep shop organized to maintain a safe environment.

-- Assist install team as needed for complex projects.

-- Ability to work independently as well as follow directions as part of a team.

-- Communicate with sales and design as needed.

Preferred skills in:

-- Experience in Welding: MIG welding steel and aluminum, Shielded Metal Arc (Stick), Cutting oxyacetylene Torch

-- Accu-Bend Experience

-- Mechanical Knowledge

-- Reading Mechanical Drawings

-- Hand Metal Bending

-- Power Hand Tools

-- Riveting

-- Forklift Operator

-- Basic Electrical

-- Project Assembly



Requirements to apply:

-- High School Diploma or equivalent

-- 1-year experience Welding

-- Previously worked successfully in a fast-paced environment

-- Lift or move up to 60 lbs

-- Climb ladders up to 20'

-- Frequently required to stand for long periods, climb and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
