*Job Summary*
The Tender position is a physically demanding job that consists of pushing pulling and constantly lifting concrete block weighing an average of 50 lb's.
*Job Responsibilities*

* Ability to lift 50lb concrete blocks on a repetitive basis.
* Must be capable of performing job duties such as bending, squatting, stooping, sweeping, and shoveling.
* Ability to communicate both verbal & written and understand direction.
* Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
* Ability to climb conveyors and vertical ladders is needed. - Mechanical and repair knowledge needed.
* Two-handed dexterity needed for the use of tools and equipment.
* Must be capable of operating a wheeled loader and forklift.
* Ability and willingness to learn how to execute each operational function as needed; i.e. - operator, cuber, forklift, etc.
* Ability to maintain and enforce a safe working environment.
* Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

*Qualifications*

* Electrical, welding and fabricating background a plus

*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*

* Forklift experience highly preferred

*Working Conditions*

* Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
* Must wear protective equipment while at the location

*Physical Requirements*

* Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
* Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up-to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up-to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
* Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
