Float Pool RN staff will be assigned to designated units
throughout the hospital based upon the daily staffing needs of the
facility. The RN will only be floated to areas for which they
are qualified and competent.
Position is built on a 12-hour day shift, 36 hours/week with an
every other weekend typical rotation.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional
Current licensure as an RN in Florida or appropriate
Current ACLS & BLS certification through the
American Heart Association.
Prior Float Pool nursing experience desired.
Customer service abilities including effective
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the
ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced
Ability to perform work that requires frequent
standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving,
patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
