Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team. This critical role is responsible for providing top-tier patient care in a high-intensity environment, ensuring the well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures and in recovery. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care. Interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' condition. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Advanced knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible and compassionate. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
