Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital as a
Full-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist and contribute to a
leading-edge healthcare environment. In this role, you will provide
expert respiratory care to patients with breathing or other
cardiopulmonary disorders at a facility renowned for its
patient-centered care and sophisticated technology. This position
involves assessing patient needs, administering therapy, and
working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize
patient outcomes in accordance with the highest standards of
healthcare services. Evaluate and treat patients with breathing
disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care
modalities, including the supervision of respiratory therapy
technicians. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain
patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate
equipment. Work closely with physicians to develop and modify
individual patient care plans. Provide patient and family education
on treatments and devices used for breathing disorders. Regularly
assess patient progress and adjust treatments as required.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient
care and progress. Proficient in advanced airway management Skilled
in using and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment Excellent
patient assessment skills Ability to design appropriate therapy
treatments plans Strong communication skills for educating patients
and families Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced,
multidisciplinary team environment Medical Insurance Dental

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for
Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state
of Florida BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification ACLS (Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
