experienced, visionary Director of Hospital-Based Physician
Services Pediatric Intensivists to provide executive-level
leadership at Golisano Childrens Hospital . This high-impact role
oversees hospital-based pediatric physicians and Advanced Practice
Providers (APPs) across multiple critical service lines, ensuring
operational excellence, financial stewardship, and exceptional
patient outcomes. This opportunity is ideal for seasoned pediatric

healthcare. Position Overview The Director provides operational,
financial, and personnel oversight for hospital-based pediatric
providers, functioning in close partnership with Practice Directors
and physician leadership. Scope of Responsibility Oversight of
approximately 60 physicians and APPs Includes full-time, PRN, and
locum providers Leadership across: Pediatric Emergency Department
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Pediatric Hospitalist Program No daily travel required (very
infrequent as needed) Standard business hours with flexibility
based on operational needs Examples: evening physician meetings,
hurricane preparedness coordination Key Responsibilities Provide
strategic leadership for hospital-based pediatric physician
services Partner closely with clinical and administrative leaders
to ensure quality, safety, and performance excellence Oversee:
Finance and budget management Coding and billing oversight Provider
scheduling and productivity Timekeeping and payroll oversight
Personnel management, engagement, and performance Support
recruitment, retention, and onboarding of high-level pediatric
providers Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with
system-wide standards Lead through collaboration, transparency, and

support to multiple hospital-based physician services. The Director
will work in collaboration with dyad partners in the acute and
post-acute setting. This position reports to Operations leadership
and provides support to the division Medical Director. The Director
is accountable for the administration and organization of practice
operations, by planning and directing all functions and activities
associated with business, financial, and clinical activities,
including but not limited to performance metrics and workgroups,
volume growth drivers, regulatory compliance, annual operating and
capital budget, marketing, operational and quality performance
monitoring, physician and staff education, potential new program
development opportunities and assisting with other system
