Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites qualified and passionate Registered
Nurses to join our esteemed CV Step Down unit. In this role, you
will be part of a dedicated team that specializes in caring for
patients recovering from open heart surgery, heart transplants, or
complex cardiac conditions. As a crucial member of our healthcare
team, you'll have the opportunity to engage directly in the
recovery process, applying your knowledge and skills to help
patients progress towards discharge while ensuring their safety and
the highest standards of patient care. Monitor cardiac and other
critical vital signs and detect any changes, enabling timely
intervention Administer medications, manage pain, and assist in
patient recovery Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical
professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care,
wellness, and lifestyle changes Document patient progress and
communicate patient status to the care team Strong clinical skills
with a focus on cardiac care Ability to react decisively in
emergency contexts Proficient in using medical software and patient
management systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate patient care with a commitment to ethical medical

Certification Certified in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
