HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Bradenton, Florida. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Information: Trauma/Medical Surgical ICU Location: HCA Florida Blake Hospital Address:2020 59th St. West Building: Main- 5 South General Information Tell us about the unit(s): - Number of Beds -25 - Number of Staff – 38 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – 1 CNC, RNs, 1 UC - Night Shift – 1 CNC, RNs - Patient Ratios – 2:1 - Type of equipment – EV1000, Tablo, Cortrak, Codman, Level I Rapid Transfuser - EMR - Meditech Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - BLS, ACLS, NIH - ICU experience Preferred or nice to have: - Critical thinking skills - Experience with acute trauma and neuro patients List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Insertion of a-lines, central lines, dialysis catheters, chest tubes · Massive transfusion (MTP) - Percutaneous tracheostomy placement - Any emergent procedures needed including opening of chest cavity, abdomen, burr holes, EVD placement - ICP monitoring Best personality Fit: - Able to handle high stress situations well/stays calm under pressure Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 2 yrs of solid PCU/ICU practice, Please account for 6 months orientation outside of this 2 years ACLS NIHSS BLS For ICU must have TNCC Updated resume
