Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) at the Port Charlotte Rehab Center is a full time individual contributor role responsible for providing comprehensive and highly skilled nursing care. The RN will work with a team of dedicated professionals to provide quality patient care and serve as a leader and mentor for those working in the patient care environment.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
--- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, teaching and counseling
--- Develop comprehensive plans of care
--- Set and encourage realistic patient goals
--- Consult with physicians, other nurses, and other healthcare personnel
--- Assisting evaluating the patient's progress through regular monitoring of care
--- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies compliant with the Nurse Practice Act
--- Document nursing care provided and patient outcomes
--- Participate in educational programs, performance improvement activities and staff meetings and serve as a resource for other nurses
--- Participate in investigative activities as requested and instructed
Requirements:
--- Must hold a valid state License as a Registered Nurse
--- At least one year of clinical experience in either a hospital or rehab center setting
--- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with patients, other staff members, and healthcare personnel
--- Demonstrable commitment to providing excellent patient care
---Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork and organizational skills
--- Must pass both a criminal and a background check
