Our Medical/Surgical Department is a 20-bed unit,offering
exceptional care for the patients we serve. Our Med/Surg Cardiac
Teleunit patient profile ranges from a diabetic care patient to one
who has justundergone an elective surgery.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- Current Florida RN license required or appropriatecompact
licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license
requiredwithin 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS Certification from the American HeartAssociation
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- Current PALS/ENPC and NIHSS certifications preferred.
- One year previous experience in an acute care
- Prior Medical, Surgical, Telemetry nursing careexperience
- Prior formal telemetry training course preferred.
- Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/orcarrying of
objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good
interpersonalcommunication skills, ability to read/comprehend
written instructions,ability to follow verbal instructions, PC
