Our Surgery Department features 9 suites, 2 Endo rooms, 1 laparoscopy room, and a 12-bed PACU. Our services include but are not limited to ortho, spine, electives, complex upper GI, cardiovascular, general, vascular, urology procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

* Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

* Current licensure as an RN in Florida or appropriate compact licensure.
* Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
* ASN;BSN preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Prior OR nursing experience desired.
* Call required.
* Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
