Summary
The Luxury Relationship Manager is responsible for establishing and developing relationships with qualifying long-stay, VIP or other luxury guests as well as leveraging expertise and Sunseeker amenities to drive Hotel revenue.



Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. No Visa sponsorship is available for this role.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Years of Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of experience in relationship management.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a departmental leadership role.

Other Minimum Requirements
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours.
Credit Check: Yes

Preferred Requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment.
Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.



Job Duties
Create and develop relationships with potential long-stay guests in order to become a single point of contact from the initial booking process through check-out.
Develop processes and methods to make it easy and convenient for long-stay guests to make payments (including various methods including the likes of wire transfers, credit card, checks etc.) for any upcoming visits to the property.
Establish protocols for communicating with guests either via phone, email, in person depending on each guests preference.
Once on property, serve as an ambassador including making any reservations or other arrangements required.
Analyze current long-stay database and determine strategy to begin communicating with these potential clients. Create continual methods to mine the long-stay database as guests add their names.
Develop marketing plans in order to create new, and further cultivate, VIP and high-rated luxury guest relationships in order to grow the database and increase client levels including hosting, and managing the coordination of, special events for existing, inactive and potential luxury and long-stay guests.
Responsible for the overall strategic direction and day to day management of the Luxury Relationship function including strategic planning, leadership, financial performance and development of staff.
Responsible for overall department team member development including hiring, firing, coaching, offering recommendations, promoting and/or accountable for any changes to an employee s status.
Create and execute department s strategic plans to grow revenue streams, effectively recognize areas of opportunity for cost containment in order to surpass budgeted objectives and maximize EBITDA.
Manage departmental expenditures, prepare justification for budget variations, and projected increases for new projects.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment when evaluating guest activity, frequency of stay and total spend, in order to determine guest incentives like comps, upgrades, room revisions and special rates for current and future reservations.
Stay abreast of property goals in order to create, support and present departmental goals to executive leadership.
Be available to guests as needed and communicate via text, phone call or email communication; guest contact per guest preference.
Manage guest reservations by using Maestro, Alice or any other applicable systems.
Create ways to further enrich the guest experience by continuously reviewing, implementing and refining procedures to ensure every opportunity to offer extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a culture of excellence, retention of luxury standards.
Proactively seek guest feedback and liaise with other departments when opportunities present themselves ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience.
Manage guest requests and own all complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest s satisfaction.
Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Front Services, Front Office, F&B, Golf Course and Executive Offices.
Foster a management team that possesses and delivers on key strategies of guest service, employee relations, team cooperation, financial responsibility and asset management.
Ensure all accounting, payroll and employee relations matters are handled in compliance with company policy.
Perform all duties in accordance with department and property policies, practices and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

General Labor Resort - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to perform repetitive motions such as operating cleaning equipment (i.e. Vacuum, floor washing equipment, and laundry machinery) time clock, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, move, transport, or carry up to 100 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to noise (i.e. resort, grounds, restaurant, machinery), temperature (i.e. kitchen, refrigeration, warehouse, outdoor), chemicals (i.e. cleaning solutions and aerosols), dusts, particulates, vapors, fumes, gases, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in open or confined areas.
