Company and occupies over 22 waterfront acres with 785 guestrooms,
including 189 Signature Sunsuites . Set upon the Peace River and
Florida Gulf Coast, this premier property offers 20 original food
and beverage concepts; including seven stand-alone restaurants,
eleven bars and lounges, two poolside offerings, and a
25,000-square-foot multi-dining experience. Additional hotel
amenities include a waterfront promenade, two unique rooftop and
waterfront pool experiences, 60,000 square feet of combined
convention space, a full-service spa and salon, a 7,100-square-foot
state-of-the-art fitness center with four group exercise studios
with specialty instructor lead classes, six retail and market
shops, and an 18-hole championship level golf club exclusive to
hotel guests only. The resort is conveniently located within a
short drive of Punta Gorda, Fort Myers, Sarasota, St.
Petersburg-Clearwater, and Tampa airports. We recognize that our

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for an
Engineer I to join our opening team! The Engineer I is responsible
for the daily operations and activities which they have been
assigned and provide administrative and technical support as
directed by department management. Engineer I is an entry level
position with general knowledge of maintenance All duties are
performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts
policies, practices and procedures. Job Duties
- Complete work orders
- Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
- Able to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp
Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges
etc.
- Able to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret
manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance of
related equipment
- Knowledgeable of hand and power tools
- Proficient at inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining,
repairing equipment and facilities fixtures, furnishings, and
equipment
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and
verbal forms
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to
effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
adhering to company standards Minimum Requirements Combination of
Education and Experience will be considered. Candidates will need
to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration
Act of 1986. Sunseeker Resorts does do criminal background checks.
- A minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in a resort setting
preferred
- HVAC Experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Other

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple
priorities, and meet established deadlines
- Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
- Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem
solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical and project management
skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business
contacts

General Mechanic - While performing the duties of this job, the
Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see,
reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate
various tools (i.e. drills, ladders, chemicals, etc.). May be
required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 75 lbs. May be
required to work various shifts/days in a 12-hour situation.
Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to
extreme noise (i.e. video games and other machinery), temperature
and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well
as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period
of time. Ability to wear personal protective gear. Some travel may
