Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in
Bradenton, FL, supporting multiple schools within the School
District of Manatee County. This role offers a unique chance to
work on-site at several Title 1 elementary schools, serving diverse
preschool and early childhood special education populations.
Assignments include full-time and part-time positions at Ballard
Elementary, Sea Breeze Elementary, Harvey Elementary, and Abel
Elementarywith an anticipated contract period from ASAP through May
29, 2026 (Abel Elementary starting March). Candidates will provide
services to students in ESE preschool classrooms, ASD units, and
integrated preschool settings with no other SLPs assigned at some
campuses. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language
evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students aged
preschool to early elementary. Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student
communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and progress
reports aligned with district guidelines. Participate in IEP
meetings and provide recommendations for speech and language
services. Qualifications: Florida State SLP License required.
Candidates with a Master's degree preferred; Bachelors may be
considered. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed. No
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be accepted.
Experience with preschool and ASD populations is highly desirable.
This position offers an enriching experience providing valuable
services to a diverse student population while working within a
supportive school district environment. Travel assignments involve
on-site work at several campuses within the Bradenton area.
