Job Description Job Description Work Type: Direct Hire, Full Time, Hybrid schedule Compensation: $27-29/hr Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance options/401k match options/PTO and Sick time Responsibilities Assist with biweekly payroll preparation, including processing employee changes and updating payroll records Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while maintaining strong attention to detail Respond to payroll inquiries via shared inbox with professional, customer focused communication Run payroll audit reports and coordinate corrections with field managers Maintain and manage pay card records for all company locations Process and forward garnishment orders to third party vendors Investigate payroll discrepancies and issue manual checks when needed Support field leaders with questions regarding tip out procedures and PTO balances Provide guidance on basic payroll policy questions Complete payroll related forms, reports, and documentation Recommend improvements to payroll processes and workflows Assist with year end tasks including W?2s and annual pay summaries Participate in special payroll projects and audits as requested Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all payroll matters Qualifications High school diploma required; degree in a related field preferred At least 3 years of payroll processing experience Strongly prefer experience in a public company processing payroll for 1,000 employees Experience in multi unit or multi state restaurant/retail payroll is highly preferred Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems such as ADP (preferred), UKG, or Workday Working knowledge of payroll regulations, garnishments, taxes, and withholding practices Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and general MS 365 skills Familiarity with web based applications and database tools High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy Excellent customer service and relationship building skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll data professionally Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour Search managed by: Haley Bosco Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate -privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
